Fitch first became interested in cutting hair at the age of 15, his first opportunity was given to him by Gary Doyle owner of the Kensington Barber shop where he worked as a trainee for 1 year to then be taken on professionally for the next 4 years.
Fitch decided to take a break and go travelling where he ended up cutting hair on the world famous San Antonio beach in Ibiza.
On his return to the UK Lee began working at Rosario’s Mens Hair Stylist along Sutton Road in Southend on Sea, during his time here Fitch learnt many new skills including fades plus he has become a resident barber for local and national celebrities.. After 5 years of working here Rosario decided to sell the shop and Lee saw the opportunity to finally make his dream come true and run his own barber shop.
In 2017 Rosario’s became Fitchy’s Barber Lounge, the shop was fully refurbished and rebranded to fit the new style. Lee has now also launched his own mens aftershave called Day and Night and he will also be releasing his own clothing range which will consist of T-shirts, hoodies, hats, bags and wallets. Fitchy’s is rapidly becoming the most established mens barbers in southend.
